LIMERICK Garden Festival on June 18 at the Milk Market aims to  inspire visitors and to take hands-on knowledge home from the day of gardening, fun and entertainment for all the family.

Following on from its successful first masterclasses last year, two international experts – Organic Gardener and TV Presenter Kitty Scully as well as well-known Medical Herbalist Vivienne Campbell who is joining the festival from Portugal – will each be running a Masterclass in addition to their on-stage talks.

“The Masterclass element of the festival is an excellent addition to the on-stage talk, giving the opportunity to go into much more depth and show hands-on demonstrations,” said Vivienne Campbell. “Its going to be wonderful to work alongside Kitty Scully and Carmen Cronin again.”

The festival will feature an impressive plant, garden and food market with traders from all over Ireland all-day expert talk.

For little ones, the festival is offering Flower Making Workshops with Lumen Street Theatre supported by Limerick City and County Council. Workshops run 1pm and 3pm on the festival grounds inside the Milk Market.
