Limerick man wins international Toastmasters prize

A LIMERICK man has taken home an international prize for public speaking at a Toastmasters competition.

Limerick man Mark Quinn was the toast of the town when his sparkling wit and public speaking prowess captured the attention of international judges.

Mark took home first place at the Toastmasters International Humorous Speech Content in Liverpool in recent weeks.

His speech, “What’s Love Got To Do With It”, won judges over when they ranked it highest of the six competing finalists.

The competition is held each year and sees more than 200 speech makers from across Ireland and the UK battle it out for humorous supremacy.
