A MEMORIAL event took place across this weekend in Askeaton in memory of Lauren McGrath.

The event aimed to raise some much needed funds for the Limerick-based Cliona’s Foundation and Little Blue Heroes, and to honour the memory of Lauren McGrath, who died aged 16 last summer.

Lauren’s Memorial Celebration took place this weekend at Top of the Town, Askeaton. Events included a themed disco, Wax or Dye, five-a-side soccer, a vintage run and much more, with live music throughout.

The event also raised funds for a Malin Head to Mizen Head cycle in memory of the late Limerick teen, which will take place in September.
