GARDAÍ and Revenue Customs officers this Friday (May 22) seized almost half a million euros worth of cannabis in Limerick.
A man aged in his 30s was arrested in connection with the massive drug seizure and brought to a Garda Station in the Limerick Division.
According to Gardaí, the joint operation saw An Garda Síochána and Revenue seize €450,000 worth of suspected herbal cannabis at a location in County Limerick, weighing an estimated 22.5kg.
The seizure was part of an intelligence-led operation also involving the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.

“Investigations are ongoing,” Gardaí said.
