
A LIMERICK senator has called on the Government to immediately re-introduce the ban on no-fault evictions.
Sinn Fรฉin Senator Paul Gavan made the call after 13 eviction notices were recently handed out in Castleconnell.
Senator Gavan said: “These figures show that the number of people at risk of homelessness across Limerick is set to grow in the coming months leading to further rises in homelessness.”
“Indeed only this week I have heard of an additional 13 eviction notices in just one County Limerick village alone – Castleconnell.”

- Attic: Up to โฌ1,500 Grant
- Cavity Walls: Up to โฌ1,700 Grant
- Internal Dry Lining: Up to โฌ4,500 Grant
Figures released by the Residential Tenancies Board showed that there was a “surge” of evictions in Limerick from April to June this year, with 205 notices presented to tenants across the city and county over the period.
