THE Council have identified a suitable location for a dog park in the west of the county.
A suitable location for a dog park in Newcastle West has been identified in the grounds of the Demesne by Limerick City and County Council.
Following a query from Independent councillor Jerome Scanlan, council members were informed at this month’s Newcastle West area meeting that the Council are currently assessing a framework tender that incorporates a new dog park.
“It is anticipated that this project will commence in October/November 2023,” Senior Engineer Aidan Finn revealed to members at the meeting.
