GARDAƍ have issued a public appeal for information following an ā€œincidentā€ which occurred on a train travelling between Limerick’s Colbert Station and Limerick Junction last Thursday afternoon (November 16) that left one person injured.

GardaĆ­ in Tipperary today (Monday) issued a public appeal for information following the broad daylight ā€œincidentā€, which GardaĆ­ say occurred on ā€œa train that departed Colbert at 4.50pm and arrived at approximately 5.20pm at Limerick Junctionā€.

One person was injured in the incident, according to GardaĆ­, with a number of other passengers coming to their aid until the train reached its destination at Limerick Junction station, which is located in County Tipperary.

ā€œA number of passengers on board the train came to the assistance of the injured party at the time. GardaĆ­ are now requesting that they make contact with them,ā€ a statement from An Garda SĆ­ochana said.
