Two Limerick charities receive Bank of Ireland funding

TWO Limerick charities are to receive funding from Bank of Ireland’s Begin Together programme.

St Gabriel’s Foundation and Doras will receive the funding in the Financial and Wellbeing category.

Doras will receive €45,000, while St Gabriel’s Foundation will get €15,000.

The fund was set up four years ago and has since given over €4.8million to local charities and non-profit organisations across the country.

Aine McCleary, Chief Customer Officer, Bank of Ireland, said: “Begin Together has provided financial supports to a broad range of community groups, charities, and social enterprises across the Island of Ireland.”
