MILFORD Care Centre announced the return of its annual 10km fundraiser run/walk fundraiser, now in its 12th year.

Scheduled for February 11, organisers say it promises to be a memorable experience and where all involved can unite to support Milford Care Centre. The event will be held both in person and online, with remote participants encouraged to join from the start line in Castletroy or virtually across Ireland and beyond.

This year’s walk/run is supported by Dell Technologies and Stryker and welcomes runners and walkers of all levels and abilities with the proceeds directly supporting the work of Milford Care Centre in the Mid West.

Richie Clifford, a longstanding advocate and supporter, officially launched Milford Care Centre’s annual 10km event. Richie’s personal connection, stemming from his late father Phonsie Clifford’s unwavering commitment and active involvement in Milford’s 10km, ignites a deep sense of pride in his affiliation with this event.

“I’m thrilled to lend my support and raise awareness for the incredible staff working for Milford, the invaluable work undertaken by Milford Care Centre within our community holds significant importance and brings immense value to the Mid West region,” Richie said.

“I encourage everyone to support Milford in raising essential funds for the services provided by Milford. We look forward to seeing you on February 11th.”
