THREE local sides will be engaged in finals at the National Basketball Arena in Dublin on Saturday.

First onto the court at 10am are Limerick Celtics, who run-up against Titans in the Under-20 Men’s National Cup decider.

Tip-off is 12.15pm for the Women’s Division 1 National Cup showdown between Limerick Celtics and Abbey Seals Dublin Lions, while Limerick Sport Eagles clash with UCD Marian in the Presidents’ Cup Final at 2.30pm.

In the semi-final of the Presidents’ Cup, an incredible 56-point haul from Sam Finlay and Kealan Coats ensured a thrilling victory for Matt Hall’s Eagles over Moy Tolka Rovers. A big rebound by Nacho Folgueiras late on was also crucial.

At the weekend, Eagles registered a timely 96-83 league win at Dublin Lions, with Coats and Finlay combining for 46 points.
