SINN Fรฉin local elections candidate Danielle OโShea has criticised the local authority for what she considers a failure to promptly repurpose derelict properties.
Ms O’Shea made the accusation following canvasses among residents of Garryglass Avenue about dereliction in the area.
โI have been contacted by several residents of Garryglass Avenue with regards to the derelict property at 4 Hyde Villas.”
“The people I spoke to are frustrated that despite this property having been derelict for years, no work has been undertaken to prepare it for habitation,” the local election candidate said.

“When you approach Garryglass Avenue it is immediately obvious that residents of the area take great pride in the upkeep of the area,” Ms O’Shea said.
