A LIMERICK food business is encouraging early stage food and drink start-up companies to apply for the Food Academy 2024.

The programme, in partnership with SuperValu, helps to showcase the work of Irish food and drink producers.

Limerick company Tim’s Table said that the SuperValu Food Academy enabled them to go from selling at a market stall to seeing their products stocked in shops across Limerick.

Zara and Tim, founders of Tim’s Table, said: “It has been a huge learning curve and one we are incredibly grateful for.”

Companies interested in applying can do so on through their Local Enterprise Office.
