GARDAÍ in Limerick are investigating after a theft of a very specific work item from a car on the outskirts of the city last month.

On Friday night (April 26), between 4pm and 10pm, a thief broke the window of a blue Nissan Micra that was parked on the Ballysimon Road.

The front passenger side window of the car was smashed during the incident, and an orange JustEat food delivery bag was stolen from the passenger seat.

Gardaí at Henry Street Garda Station are investigating and have appealed to anyone with information on the takeaway theft to contact them on 061 212400.
