THREE Limerick organisations have been awarded a share of Rethink Ireland’s Munster Impact Fund of over €760,000, supported by EI Electronics.

Doon Social Farm, part of Ballyhoura Rural Services, Learning Hub Limerick, and The GAFF have all been awarded from the fund, which aims to help the awardees expand and increase their social impact.

Each of the organisations will receive a package of grants and business supports over six months.

Hannah Cousins, head of green transition at Rethink Ireland, said that the awardees “are true illustrations of future-focused, community-led organisations who are playing their part in the green transition.”

Mick Guinee, CEO of EI Electronics, added that being part of Rethink Ireland “is something that’s incredibly important” to EI Electronics.
