Limerick-based Career Decisions named Company of the Year at national awards

A LIMERICK-based company was named Company of the Year at the All-Ireland Business Foundation Awards.

Coaching and career development company Career Decisions took home the Business of the Year title in the Career Transition, Leadership Development, and Coaching category at the recent awards.

Over the past 30 years, Career Decisions has been helping professionals from all walks of life transition to the next stage of their careers and navigate the change and complexities that a career change brings.

The company currently has a staff of over 50 based at its offices in Limerick, Dublin, Cork, and Belfast.

Working with companies such as Ptsb, Dell, IDA, The Department of Education, An Post, the ESB, and Enterprise Ireland, Career Decisions offers courses and programmes in professional development, delivered to diploma standard.

Miriam Magner Flynn, Career Decisions CEO, said that the company was “delighted to accept the prestigious Best In-Class Company of the Year Award in Career Transition, Leadership Development, and Coaching”.

“It is a tremendous honour for Career Decisions to be recognised as industry leaders in delivering exceptional quality career engagement programmes, career transition programmes for employees facing redundancy, executive coaching and leadership development programmes,” she said.

Managing Director of the All-Ireland Business Foundation, Kapil Khanna, said that when picking winners in the competition, they “evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees, and vendors. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics.”
