TEENAGER Madison McGuane of Treaty United has been named SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division Player of the Month for April.
The 16-year-old is one of the most exciting young talents emerging in the sport.
A midfielder, she has quickly risen through the ranks from grassroots football at Pike Rovers to becoming a senior player with Treaty and a standout performer for the Republic of Ireland National team.
Laurie Ryan, Treaty Manager commented: “I’m delighted for Madison to receive this recognition; she’s been outstanding for us, and it has been fantastic to see her and the team’s performances acknowledged. She’s still so young and continues to improve every week, which is really exciting for us as a club and for the league as a whole.”
