THE CHAIR of the Shannon Airport Group welcomed the appointment of commercial property expert Adrian Trueick to the company’s board.
Mr Trueick was appointed to the board by Transport Minister Darragh O’Brien for a five-year term.
Welcoming the appointment, board chair Conal Henry said that Mr Trueick’s “experience advising both public and private sector clients, combined with his strong focus on sustainability and the retrofitting of existing assets, will be of significant value to the Group as we continue to develop our infrastructure and support balanced regional growth. I look forward to working with him during his term.”
Mr Trueick is a chartered surveyor with over 35 years’ experience in the Irish commercial property sector. Currently acting as a consultant, he was a founding director of HT Meagher O’Reilly, now Knight Frank Ireland, a property advisory firm specialising in commercial and residential property, including investment, development, and transactional advice.
During his executive career, Adrian headed the firm’s capital markets and property management teams, working with a broad range of international and domestic investors, developers and public sector bodies. He has advised on large-scale commercial development funding and on the sale and acquisition of major property assets, with a particular focus in recent years on sustainability, including the retrofitting of older buildings.
Adrian is a current member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He was formerly an associate of the Irish Tax Institute, complementing his extensive commercial and financial expertise within the property sector.
