Gardai arrest three more in Ger McMahon murder investigation

GARDAI in Limerick have arrested three more in connection with the murder of Gerard McMahon on January 18 last.

Two males in their 20s were arrested on Wednesday afternoon and both were detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Roxboro and Mayorstone Garda Stations. A third man in his 30s was arrested and is detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act 1939 and is detained at Bruff Garda Station.

 

This now brings to six the number of people arrested in relation to this investigation.

Gerard McMahon was found at the door of a house on Lenihan Avenue in the city with multiple stab wounds which he later died from.
