GAA – O’Neills and Etihad Airlines launch World Games kits

Screen shot 2016-07-04 at 15.35.27THE COUNTDOWN to the Etihad Airways GAA World Games 2016 has intensified today with the unveiling of the official team apparel by team wear partners O’Neill’s House of Sport at Croke Park.

Footballers and hurlers from as far away as Australia, South Africa and Argentina will be among the 10 global regions represented by the 60 teams that take part in the week-long festival of Gaelic games that begins on August 7.

All of the players taking part in the Etihad Airways GAA World Games 2016 will be kitted out in apparel sponsored and supplied by O’Neill’s with a number of the unique GAA kit designs on display at a special launch held on the Etihad Skyline on the rooftop of Croke Park.

There’ll be as many as 500 matches played over the course of the Etihad Airways GAA World Games schedule with teams from across America, Canada, Europe, Australia, the UK, the Middle East and Asia on parade.

 

The weeklong event will also include a coaching conference and a cultural heritage night as part of the programme. The opening matches will be staged in UCD, Belfield. The finals will be played in Croke Park on August 12th hosting football, ladies football, camogie and hurling deciders.
