TAKING a dark situation and finding light in it is a hallmark of how self-taught artist Jennifer Allen approaches many things, not least her style of visual art. Using white pencil on black paper to bring out minute detail, you now have an opportunity to see her work up-close at Limerick Library, The Granary while supporting a good cause.
‘Shine Out of Darkness’ exhibition is a fundraiser for Peter McVerry Trust’s Opening Doors Appeal, now in its 5th year. 30 per cent of proceeds from all the exhibition sales will go directly to Peter McVerry Trust.
