LIMERICK indie pop band Lost Boys have shared their new single ‘Weak’. The track is the opening salvo of a string of summer singles which will throw a light on the band’s new direction in sound.
Lost Boys are Peadar Storey (Guitar/Vocals), Michael Meleady (Guitar/Vocals), Patrick O’Donnell (Drums/Production) and Peter Corbett (Bass)
Producer / drummer Patrick O’Donnell described the band’s approach to their new sound.
“The song is an experiment into the way modern American pop has evolved to include styles from hip-hop and other genres. Using this as a starting point, much like a painter painting blindfolded, we let the songs grow without being chained to the styles of music that we have previously been known for.”
Lost Boys music has been picked up by New Music Friday on Spotify, achieved Track of the Week on RTE and sold out their last three headline gigs in Limerick.
