Gardaí concerned over the wellbeing of missing County Clare man

The search for 56-year-old John McNally has been called off following the discovery of a body.

GARDAÍ in County Clare have issued an appeal for assistance from the public in tracing the whereabout of 56-year-old John McNally.

Mr McNally was last seen in Shannon, County Clare, on Friday May 19. He is described as being approximately five foot five inches and of a stocky build, with brown hair and blue eyes.

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said that it is unknown what Mr McNally was wearing at the time he went missing.

Gardaí and Mr McNally’s family have said they are concerned over his wellbeing and are appealing to anyone who may have information on his whereabouts to contact Shannon Garda Station on 061 365 900 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
