TREATY United exited the FAI Cup, 2-0, at the hands of Premier outfit Cork City at the Markets Field over the weekend.

The goals, both of which arrived in the closing-half, were courtesy of Joshua Honohan and Tunde Owolabi.

Treaty will be back in action at the venue on Friday when Wexford are visitors in the SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division.

In a Division comfortably headed by Galway, these two teams are neck-and-neck in a search for a coveted promotion play-off place.  Wexford are a point ahead of Treaty in the standings, but Tommy Barrett’s side have a match in hand (owning to the recent postponement of their recent home outing with Waterford FC).

Treaty United: Conor Winn; Ben O’Riordan, Mark Walsh, Darren Nwankwo, Marc Ludden (captain); Lee Devitt, Jordan Tallon; Willie Armshaw, Stephen Christopher, Dean George; Enda Curran. Substitutes used: Colin Kelly, Colin Conroy, Fionn Doherty, Scott Kirkland.
