FAMILY Carers Ireland is inviting people across Limerick to Step Up for Family Carers at Mungret Park on Sunday, April 26 at 11 am.
Participants are encouraged to walk, jog, run 5km on the day as part of a national community challenge to raise vital funds and awareness for family carers. Danielle Londra, a family carer from Limerick, said: “So much of caring happens behind closed doors, and many carers just keep going without ever stopping to think about what support they might need themselves, or even what help is available.”
