Two Limerick teens finalists in 2026 Miss Teen Ireland

TWO 16-YEAR-OLDS from Limerick schools have been selected as finalists in the 2026 Miss Teen Ireland competition.

Mildred Prempeh, a student at Coláiste Chiaráin, will take part in the competition this May Bank Holiday weekend (May 4).

Speaking about her selection, Mildred said: “As a young girl, I want to show others like me that you can succeed in any space, even if you don’t always see people who look like you there.”

Also taking part will be Emma Downey. From County Clare, Emma is a pupil at Thomond Community College an avid horse riding enthusiast who recently passed her BHS Stage 2 exams.

She is also an active member of the Moyross Youth Academy.
