ENTERTAINER Ben Portsmouth has the unique distinction of being the very first European to win the title of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Award at the Canon Center in Memphis 2012.
The ‘Images of the King’ contest brings thousands of Elvis fans into the city of Memphis to celebrate the legacy of the king of rock ‘n’ roll who died in 1977. The competition is held to find the performer who is closest musically to Elvis rather than just a convincing look-a-like, though Ben Portsmouth does have a strong resemblance to Elvis Aaron Presley in his 1950’s/ 60’s heyday.
